- MCP server URL
- https://api.taption.com/mcp-custom

Only use connectors from developers you trust. Anthropic does not control which tools developers make available and cannot verify that they will work as intended or that they won't change.
3. Connect your account
If authentication settings appear, choose Sign in now and Use Claude’s published identity, then Add. Select Connect next to Taption if prompted.
Keep the detected settings and leave request headers empty. Taption will open for you to sign in.

Each user signs in through the server’s OAuth flow before they can use any tools or resources.
- Sign in when needed
Claude connects without credentials and prompts users to sign in when the server asks.
- No sign-in
Pick this for servers with open access or for servers that use an API key instead of OAuth.
- Use Claude’s published identityDetected
The server reads Claude’s client details from a URL Anthropic hosts (CIMD). Nothing to set up, but the server must support it.
- Register automatically
Claude registers an OAuth client with the server as users connect (DCR).
- Use your own OAuth client
Enter a client ID you registered with the server yourself. Leave the secret blank unless your authorization server requires one.
Sent with every request alongside the OAuth bearer token. Values are stored securely and never shown again. You can add up to four.
+ Add header4. Allow access
Sign in to Taption. Check your email address, review the permissions, and select ALLOW ACCESS. You will return to Claude.
Email and password users must verify their email first. Use a different account lets you switch accounts before approving.

Start a new conversation. Select + in the message box, then Connectors. Turn on Taption for this conversation.
If Taption is missing, return to Connectors and finish connecting your account.
6. Try a message
Copy and send the message below. If Claude asks to use a Taption tool, review the request and choose Allow once.
Reading transcripts does not use transcription minutes. Starting a new transcription does.
Claude should show your recent Taption transcripts, or tell you there are none yet.
Need help connecting?
Cannot add a connector? Free Claude accounts allow one custom connector. On a team account, ask an owner to add Taption, then connect your own account. If your layout differs, follow the official guide below.
No transcripts? Confirm that you connected the correct Taption account. If the connection fails, check the complete server URL and sign in again. Make sure Taption is enabled in the conversation.
